Well, this picture might not mean anything to you, but to me it is wonderful. After almost 3 years in our home, we finally got carpet in our basement. The basement has been finished for over a year, but we kept shopping around for carpet. Deciding on price, texture, color, and carpet pad, had me and Aaron looking for ages, until we finally decided just to put what we already had in the rest of our house downstairs. Sheesh. It is finally done!!!!!! and it looks amazing. Come and see for yourselves. It is offically the party room now. We currently dont have any furniture down there, but that will be taken care of this weekend. Complete with TV, couch and chairs. And lets not forget the Wii for Guitar Hero and PS2 for SING STAR!!! WOO HOO!

Spencers Band Program
Spencer is so dang, stinkin cute! He had his band concert on Wednesday this week. They played about 6 songs.

He is playing the trumpet and is getting very good at it. Here are some pics. I have the whole thing recorded if any of you are interested. Next week he has a singing and dancing program on Thursday April 24th, at 130 if any want to come! Should be entertaining, I just bought him a disco outfit for it.
UPDATE!
I went to the dentist yesterday and got a clean bill of health.
NO CAVITIES!!! hurray!!!!
Spencer is going on Monday.
I'M FINALLY BACK
Well, it has been awhile since I last posted, but I've been pretty busy lately. I just got back from four, count them, four vacations in a row. I am such a lucky girl!! My hubby lets me go whenever I want. What a guy!
It was so nice to be able to play with Ian and Drew. They both have gotten VERY big! Both have wonderful personalities. I wish they lived closer so I could babysit all the time!
They are only one day apart, so we like to celebrate together! I got to eat at PF Changs for my birthday and then at Benihanas for Amandas birthday. We got to see our good friend Cindy, that moved to vegas a year ago. It was nice to see her out there and have her come out and party with us! We also got to attend a Karaoke lounge, where my husband fell in love with the karaoke host. She was a cutie! They sang together and entertained us all night long. Im surprised he came home with me, truth be told! One of the funnest times we had down there so far. It really was great to go site seeing, eat delicious food, and sing to crazy drunk people, who don't care what you sound like. Good times.
Well, Im sure most of you know we went to St. George, and to AZ, but then I went to Seattle to visit my sister. It was a really good time up there. Cold, but fun. Ian had his birthday up there, and I got to help out with the party. It is pretty fun to put together a party with out any stress! Lori is a teriffic planner and an organized one too. She made it very fun and easy on all involved, (except her, I suppose). The kids had costumes, and an amazing R2D2 cake, and light sabers, and a bouncy house. The works. Check out her blog to read more!
Since I went with my mama up there, we had some good bonding time too, just us girls. My mom took us to get a pedicure for our birthdays. Best hour of any day. I highly recommend them at any time, day or night! We also got to shop a little together, and cook meals, and cake, and have a few drinks to top it off!
My one accident there, which I will never be able to forget, is when I was making lunch for my sister and mom and I grabbed the HOT panini maker. I have no idea why I did it, but I branded my thumb with a rectangle. It didnt blister, but actually branded my thumb. Weird, but now I have a memento for that weekend. Next time I think I will just buy something to remember instead. Other than that, what an enjoyable weekend. I thought nothing could top it.
But then I went to Vegas...lol That was pretty dang fun too! We meet there, with our friends from AZ,every April to celebrate mine and Amandas birthdays.
Just in case any of you are keeping track, I did fall on this trip too, walking out of the hooters hotel to the excalibur, my shoe got stuck in the edge of the sidewalk and down I fell. Not too dramatic and this time I didn't hurt myself, although we all got a good laugh out of it!

Arizona
Well, we made it back. Safe and sound. Arizona is one of our favorite places to go. Not only is it warm and beautiful all year long, but our favorite people are there. Casey and Amanda McIntosh, whom we have known for years and years...probably around 12 ish, are our besest friends.
It isn't very often that Aaron and I agree on couple friends. Either he likes the hubby and I don't like the wife or I like the wife and he doesn't like the hubby, not that we are picky, but some people just dont mesh. So, I can probably count on one hand how many "couple" friends we have, and Casey and Amanda are always #1. They always welcome us with open ar
ms to their house whenever we want!
This weekend, we went to their home, spur of the moment, for a BBQ. We had such a great time. We ate delicious hamburgers and hotdogs, pototo salad and chips with yummy dip. We also played Sing Star. Now if you don't know what Sing Star is you are really missing out. It is pretty much karaoke, but so much more fun. You should try it! We also played Rock Band and pretended like we were rock stars... (in our 30's) lol
