Well, Im sure most of you know we went to St. George, and to AZ, but then I went to Seattle to visit my sister. It was a really good time up there. Cold, but fun. Ian had his birthday up there, and I got to help out with the party. It is pretty fun to put together a party with out any stress! Lori is a teriffic planner and an organized one too. She made it very fun and easy on all involved, (except her, I suppose). The kids had costumes, and an amazing R2D2 cake, and light sabers, and a bouncy house. The works. Check out her blog to read more!
Since I went with my mama up there, we had some good bonding time too, just us girls. My mom took us to get a pedicure for our birthdays. Best hour of any day. I highly recommend them at any time, day or night! We also got to shop a little together, and cook meals, and cake, and have a few drinks to top it off!
My one accident there, which I will never be able to forget, is when I was making lunch for my sister and mom and I grabbed the HOT panini maker. I have no idea why I did it, but I branded my thumb with a rectangle. It didnt blister, but actually branded my thumb. Weird, but now I have a memento for that weekend. Next time I think I will just buy something to remember instead. Other than that, what an enjoyable weekend. I thought nothing could top it.
But then I went to Vegas...lol That was pretty dang fun too! We meet there, with our friends from AZ,every April to celebrate mine and Amandas birthdays.
Just in case any of you are keeping track, I did fall on this trip too, walking out of the hooters hotel to the excalibur, my shoe got stuck in the edge of the sidewalk and down I fell. Not too dramatic and this time I didn't hurt myself, although we all got a good laugh out of it!
