Raging Waters

We went to Raging Waters today for a friends birthday.  It was so nice and warm outside, but the water was FREEZING... we eventually got used to it and had a terrific day!! Thanks Shannon and Zach for inviting us.

Clark Planetarium

We went to Clark Planetarium this week with some friends.  We saw Under the Sea in 3D.  It was a very cool movie.  We also checked out all the fun stuff they had there.  Walking on the Moon, Mars, fun quizzes and of course the store!!

Sillyness at home

 

We had some friends come and stay with us a couple weekends ago, and after they left, I was working on the computer, and kept hearing the funniest giggling noises, followed by something hitting the ground.  When I got up to investigate, this is what I saw. The kids decided to use the blow up mattresses as a slide instead of using the stairs.  They seemed to be having so much fun, that I just didn't worry about them popping the mattresses, and just let them have at it!

Jumpin Jacks

Another fun outing was going to Jumpin' Jacks with some friends.  They have a ton of bouncy things and the kids were entertained for hours.

Fathers Day

 

How could I forget to post about our nice relaxing Father's Day outing???  We went up to Strawberry and did some fishing and camping and relaxing.  What more could you ask for on Father's Day?!

FINALLY, my updated blog.  I figured out the picture problem and realized it was ME not the computer. I just seem to be more of an idiot these days...lol! Oh, well!

Incredible!!

 

While Kent and Janae were in town, we took them to the Incredilbe Pizza Factory.  This is a new place that just opened up in Draper.  It is a pretty fun place.  The kids loved it, and there was lots to do so the kids played all day.  They loved the Race Cars and Laser Tag.  Spencer even got a little trophy for coming in 1st place twice in a row with the race cars!! Go Spencer!

The 4th of July

 

We had quite the holiday weekend.  We did a BBQ on both Saturday and Sunday with our friends.  We stayed up late playing card games and laughing like crazy.  We had such a great holiday.  Aaron's brother in law Kent and his daughter Jenae came up and stayed with us for a week during 4th of July.  It was fun to see them after so long. 

SCOUT CAMP

 

Here are the boys getting ready to leave for their first scout camp!  Don't the look just SO excited?? It was a week long camp, and Aaron was such a cool dad and decided to go with them for the first 2 days and the last 2 days.  I was lucky enough to get pictures that way!!! Lucky me :)

This is Spencer doing the COLD water plunge.  The lake was FREEZING and apparently dirty! He had to stay in the water and tread for one full minute.  BRRRRRR

This is Spencer and the other boys after doing their obstacle course.  The top pic is of Spencer after he ran a mile.  They also had to canoe, do a relay, lasso, archery and fire building, among other things!!  They were all exhausted after doing this!!

 

They also got to build a teeter tauter in the woods by their camp.  They put a really long tree trunk between 2 other trees. Very creative. They had so much fun on this.  Wish I could have done it. It looks really fun!  

I'm not sure they were too excited to come home because they had so much fun, but it was sure nice to get them all home.  I had a pretty empty house for a whole week.  I loved the first two days, but after that it was REALLY boring for me!!
