Well, August has been a very busy month for us. I figure it is about time to blog about it. I have had people ask me to update it, so here I go...
We went camping the first weekend in August up at Pine View, which was really fun. We enjoyed the sun and water. Spencer was digging a hole in the beach the ENTIRE time we were there. He was filthy by the end of the night. He loved it though, so we loved it cause it kept him busy. He even feel asleep on the beach by his hole cause it tuckered him out so much...lol
Unfortunately, I forgot my camera that weekend, so you get to see none of it. Way to go Shannon.
The next weekend, my friend Cindy and I took the kids on a trip to Las Vegas for the weekend, to check on her apartment there. She was in the process of moving back to Utah. We went to FAO Schwartz, the mile mall, Trampoline world, among other things. 
The following week, Aaron, Spencer and I went to Phoenix to visit our friends, Casey and Amanda. We had a fun time seeing them again, and are eagerly awaiting our next trip during Thanksgiving. 
A few days after that, I took another trip to Las Vegas with Cindy and our kids, to help her move all her stuff up here. Aaron flew down over the weekend and helped us drive the monstrous truck and trailer back to SLC. We had a exciting and exhausting time there. We took the kids to see the M&M factory, FAO Swartz (again), stopped by Planet Hollywood and the mile mall there (again), saw the Bellagio gardens, Caesar’s Palace, The Luxor, and Mandalay Bay. We did a lot of walking that day, and wore the boys out. 
The day after we came home, Spencer started his first day of 5th grade. He has an awesome teacher this year. He really likes school. He was so excited for his first day of school, that he woke up at 6am, showered, gelled his hair, dressed in his finest school clothes, made himself breakfast, and was itching to go to school before I even woke up!! LOL. I was so proud. I hope it lasts all year.
Well. That’s about it for August. I did get a job at Spencer’s school. They called and asked if I wanted to work there part time, and I said sure. I am also the PTA Secretary, so I will be at the school just as much as Spencer, if not more. We are all excited to have started school and are looking forward to all the fun things in the upcoming year.

I loved August with you. Football is back, our shows are back, our couple time seems secure.
