Seriously, why does everything have to break. I was trying to get my chocolates done early this year with my mom, but we discovered that our stupid tempering machine is broken. This is a necessity, so when we dip our chocolates, they don't turn white. We just bought it for $500 last year, so why is it broken... we have no idea. So those of you looking forward to chocolates, may have to wait another year, unless we can get it fixed asap.
As if that wasn't enough to ruin my weekend, our water heater broke. So we couldn't do chocolates, even if our machine worked, because we would have no water to clean up. geez.
Aaron, my awesome husband, went to install another one the same day, but has had difficulty getting the pilot light to work, so he went online for some help, and wouldn't you know, that specific water heater has major problems with the pilot light, there is even a class action lawsuit going on about it. CRAZY, I tell you. So back he goes to get another one. (after 2 days of work) and I head to my moms with my son, so we can shower, since we haven't showered for 2 days! gross! (Also, my tire on my car is flat, I still need to fix that, stupid nail.)
On a good note though. Spencer thought the box we brought home with the water heater in it was the coolest thing ever. He has been playing in it for 2 days, and wanted to sleep in it too.
He always has a great positive attitude. I have no idea where he got that from. He must have been switched at birth. lol

OH NO!! No chocolates this year! I can't believe your machine is broken, it has to be under warranty.
THAT SUCKS!!!! i have a question for ya - was the box cold? is that why the blanket was on it? jk.

Well, at least I'm not sitting up here wishing I was dipping chocolates with you, now.
Spencer is so cute. Boxes are the best. We usually keep our big boxes around for a month or two.
I hope you get your tempering machine fixed :) I'll try not to be too jealous when you do.
Doesn't it all happen at once? It seems to for us. But Spencer did get a fabulous toy out of it. Boxes are the best! I think I might just get Zach a bunch of big boxes for Christmas. :)
