Election Night

Spencer, being in 5th grade has been talking about the 2008 election for about a month. He is learning about it in his class at school, and his teacher is really involved and has a love of the United States Election and the process it goes through. Spencer has been excited and looking forward to this day for awhile. His homework tonight, which he thinks is the coolest thing in the world, is to watch TV and find out about how the election turned out. He is tracking every state, and the percentange of the votes. So funny. We decided to put a blanket out and eat dinner in front of the TV(which we NEVER do, so this was cool). Below is Spencer eating dessert and watching the election. (Spencer would have voted for Obama, just for the record, he has no idea why...lol)

That's cool that he's into the election. Hopefully he'll keep up his interest in politics!

Spencer is so stinking funny. It was like watching the super bowl for me, I couldn't take my eyes off the TV. By the end I was jumping around cheering and maybe had a few tears in my eyes.
